Trent B I Love being able to vibe in, jam out, and soak in some of my history and culture all at the same time. I seek to contribute my efforts for the betterment of my self and of society, and this album is an inspirational reminder to keep faith in the mission and keep strong through the struggle. Favorite track: High On The People.

kth333 Yup, just as I suspected another masterfully crafted intelligent album. The poignant source material of the snippets and the instrumental beats that allow for reflection of the material. It’s that time for reflection which characterizes all the albums in this series. To absorb the material at face-value, the snippet itself. Then place it into the context of the times. Then into a broader context of the current state of affairs, history and all social interactions. Really powerful stuff! I find all these albums as entry-points to expand my awareness and knowledge-base all the while listening to good old classic phat boom-bap. Thank you very much brother. For taking the time to compile and craft. It is very much appreciated. All the best all the time, peace! Favorite track: All Power To The People (full mixtape).

about

Another must have part of Marc Mac's "Beats n knowledge" series of mixtape style albums. Also included is the full length continuous mix.

A Documentary on Wax.
Looking back (and forward), reflecting on the movement known as "The Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. Often the term "Self-Defense" is left out of discussion and far too often knowledge of the social programs developed by the Panthers gets push aside to continue a narrative of a violent group of anti-society revolutionaries. Revolutionary yes, anti-society no. All Power To The People.
